Member Registration
We have brought in a members-only system using the internet in order to carry out member list management and exchanges between graduates.
If you are an international student who graduated from this university and wish to register your data on the system, please read the following.
Those who agree to comply with its requirements should insert a check mark by "I agree to comply with the above" at the bottom of the screen and click the "Apply for member registration" to proceed to the input forms.
After your registration is completed, you will be informed of your member ID and password by us.
◆ Privacy Policy
1. Purpose of collecting personal information
The Σ Global Community Site collects members' names, addresses, telephone numbers, places of work, email address and other personal information for the purposes of communication from the university or the Site, for contacting alumni regarding member friendship and exchange events, and other matter related to the operation of the Site.
2. Provision of personal information to third parties
The Σ Global Community Site shall not disclose personal information to any third parties without the permission of the member, save for the following cases.- When in the course of providing the Site services to members, this information is disclosed to those consigned operatives on the basis of a confidentiality agreement.
- When disclosure is required by the laws and other authorities.
3. Disclosure and change of personal information
Members shall be able to view and change their personal information that the Σ Global Community Site holds at any time by logging into the Member site with the member's ID and password they were individually issued. In addition, it is possible to request a change or disclosure on paper to the Site.
4. Internet security
The Σ Global Community Site and the Member site where important personal information such as addresses and telephone numbers are entered use a data encryption technology known as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) for sent data, to prevent the stealing or skimming of individual data.
5. Cookies
The Σ Global Community Site and the Member site use cookies.Web servers are able to distinguish each user's computer through referring to cookies, and therefore allow users to access site-based services appropriately.

6. Database maintenance and management
Databases in which personal information is registered are stored at an organization that has been issued with an information security management system (ISMS) certificate by the International Organization for Standardization in relation to information security. In addition, work related to the maintenance management shall be delegated to an information management company on the basis of a contract that prevents the illicit use or leaking of individual information.
7. Disclaimer
Access to the Member site shall be limited to only the members themselves on the basis on the member's ID and password that were issued to each member. The Σ Global Community Site shall not take any responsibility for any damages in the event that a third party learns of a member's ID and/or password through carelessness of the member, and this third party pretends to be the member, forges personal data from malicious intent, or destroys it.
Addendum
The Σ Global Community Site shall endeavour to revise its systems as appropriate and constantly work for appropriate improvement in order to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, or otherwise of personal data.In addition, it reserves the right to alter or add any of the contents on the Site in line with the development of network technology or the activities of the Site without warning or informing the members.
